Kate is currently working with Guy Sigsworth in Krakow, recording her next album. She is about halfway done......

UNLIKE ME video out today ! - 25/10/2007
So finally the UNLIKE ME video has premiered.
You can see it on www.music.aol.com
Kate spent a whole day in a huge water tank when filming the video. She had underwater speakers to lip sync to the video and had to learn how to dive and use the air supply.

Melankton was released 27th March. Kate did a sold out release concert at The Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles !!
USA release 27th March confirmed!! - 05/02/2007
It's a pleasure to announce that Melankton will be released in the USA on March 27th, on Universal Republic Records.
Kate has just recenetly signed a licensing agreement with Universal Repuplic for her releases in North America.
The signing was it was announced last week by Monte Lipman, President of Universal Republic. “Kate Havnevik has quickly emerged as one of music’s promising new innovators,” stated Mr. Lipman. “We’re thrilled to announce that her unique sound and captivating presence has found a home at Universal Republic. The entire company joins me in welcoming Kate and looks forward to a successful working relationship.”
Kate would also like to say that she is more than thrilled to have found the dream team in America to work with, and is looking so much forward to the weeks ahead.

So Lo and Kaleidoscope in Grey's Anatomy - 21/10/2006
Kate Has had two more songs featured in the top US tv series Grey's Anatomy.
Her song SO LO was featured in episode 4 season 3 aired two weeks ago and her song Kaleidoscope was in episode 5 season 3 aired this week.
SO LO is not on Kate's album Melankton , but will be released as anexclusive on itunes in the coming weeks

Melankton was released in UK shops 16th of Oct. along with the Unlike Me single.
NEW ALBUM VERSION AND 'UNLIKE ME' SINGLE IN WEB-STORE - 29/09/2006
The new version of ‘Melankton’ and the ‘Unlike Me’ single has now been added to the web-store on this site.
The new version of ‘Melankton’ is slightly different from the old one. The main difference is that one track has been added, ‘TRAVEL IN TIME’, and one track has been taken off the album, ‘SOMEDAY’. The album has also been re-mastered.
‘TRAVEL IN TIME’ is also featured on Carmen Rizzo’s album The Lost Art Of The Idle Moment which was released last year.

London gigs in August - 15/07/2006
Kate will be doing two gigs in in London in August with the Melankton songs. The first gig will take place at the Cobden Club on August 1st, and the second gig will be at the Bush Hall on August 24th.
The Cobden Club is a private members club, and those who intend / want to come need to be on the guest list. You can be on the guest list by sending us an email to live@katehavnevik.com with your name and how many are coming. Despite the guest list system there is an admission fee of £5.

GRACE on Grey's Soundtrack - 05/07/2006
Got some great news today . :-)
My song GRACE will be featured on the next Grey's Anatomy soundtrack to be released early this fall.
I am so happy about this and feel flattered they think the song has been an important part of the show.
apart from that I am just preparing for more gigs, mainly in LONDON.

Kate's online store now open! - 02/06/2006
Kate's store her on the web site is now up and running. The only item in the shop at the moment is the hard copy of Melankton. But we'll be adding some more items in the near future. People can order the CD to all corners of the world, and the shop displays prices in USD, GBP, Euros and Canadian Dollars.
Reykjavik gig cancelled - 02/06/2006
The festival that kate was supposed to perform on in Reykjavik, Iceland 1. July has been cancelled.
